My name is Cheryl Reardon , Founder of Concerned Pilesgrove Residents (CPR) . I reside in Pilesgrove with my husband, Ed -- daughter, Kyleen (21), a Senior at Rowan University -- and son, Kevin (16), a Junior at Woodstown High School .

As an INDEPENDENT candidate, I am FREE OF PARTISAN POLITICAL INFLUENCES. Unlike major political party candidates, I do not accept campaign contributions from any entity that might profit from development. My decisions are based solely on what is in the best interest of ALL Pilesgrove residents.

Over the past six years, I have demonstrated firm commitment to retaining our “ country ” environment. I have successfully raised public awareness of sustainable proactive planning that will compliment our unique area. Also, as a Project Director for the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC), it is my responsibility to protect natural and agricultural resources within Salem and Cumberland Counties .

I share your concern of escalating property taxes. Property assessments should be realistic -- not based on maximum highs during peak market conditions. I will work to provide stable positive commercial ratables to offset residential property taxes.

Residents MUST have a voice in planning their future. I believe you make sound decisions and expect your leaders to do the same.

On Election Day, November 6 th , I ask you to make the right choice.

Write-in CHERYL REARDON to be Your Voice in Local Government .

Here’s Why:

Cheryl, Founder of CONCERNED PILESGROVE RESIDENTS (CPR), has fought rampant development for six years. She is committed to:

•  Maintaining a Rural community

•  Minimizing residential development thru Proactive Planning

(thus holding down taxes and school overcrowding)

•  Seeking Positive Ratables that Support Agriculture (not strip malls)

•  Protecting our Natural and Environmental Resources

•  Keeping the best Planners and Planning Officials in place, through whom Pilesgrove has won State and conservation group accolades.

All current Pilesgrove Committeemen are of one political party… and, the last elected works as an engineering consultant for a local attorney supporting development. Without opposition, we believe the Township Committee will vote unanimously to replace our planning professionals with developer friendly political choices. We need to prevent political control of our land policy… we see signs this process has begun.

Cheryl is an independent and free of partisan political influences .

She has a proven track record of working tirelessly for YOU and in the best interest of Pilesgrove Township – working to start the Pilesgrove-Woodstown Joint Environmental Commission (2nd in the State), attending Township Committee & Planning Board meetings, raising public awareness through seminars and media events, and organizing opposition to inappropriate planning and zoning. Concerned Pilesgrove Residents was officially recognized by the New Jersey Planning Organization (NJPO) for their pro-active planning work.

On November 6th , vote for the only INDEPENDENT Township Committee candidate committed to keeping YOUR BEST INTEREST top priority !

Who We Are: We are a growing group of concerned residents focused on preserving the rural character and legacy of Pilesgrove Township.

Why: Large real estate developers are currently proposing to permanently alter the rural character of our township by building over ONE THOUSAND new housing units on TWO PARCELS of land (that's eight or more housing units per acre) ... AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!

What Can YOU DO?
We ask, “How do YOU envision your Township in five to ten years?" What YOU do today will MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR FUTURE. Show Township and County leaders YOU care by attending meetings – and use your spere of influence to encourage others to join you. By gaining knowledge of issues, YOU can be part of planning a community we can all be proud of. If YOU don’t do it, then you willingly allow developers to plan YOUR future –at YOUR EXPENSE.

CPR welcomes new supporters from throughout Salem County. We work on a volunteer basis – and have NO membership dues.
WE NEED YOU! Your participation and input is essential to the future of your Township and Salem County. For more information, please contact:
